Residents of most non-EU passports (India, Pakistan, Philippines, Egypt and others) need a Cyprus short-stay visa filed in advance through the Cypriot mission's channel in the UAE.
Holders of valid multiple-entry Schengen visas may enter Cyprus under Cyprus's own waiver practice — it is policy, not Schengen law, so confirm the current rule before booking.
