Australia visa for UAE residents (2026)

UAE passport holders apply for an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) in the official app — usually approved within minutes — and can enter repeatedly for stays of up to three months. Residents on other passports need a Visitor visa (subclass 600), filed online through ImmiAccount, with biometrics in Dubai if requested.

Can I work on an ETA, eVisitor or Visitor 600?

No. These permits cover tourism, family visits and short business activities such as meetings and conferences. Any employment requires a work visa, and informal work during a visit risks cancellation and future refusals.
