Applying for Schengen visa from UAE

List of Schengen countries, which are open to traveling
Greece
Greece is one of the few countries to suspend visa issuance for only a few months when the pandemic broke out. Now visas are issued on a regular basis.
Where can you apply for a visa to Greece in the UAE?
At the VFS Dubai, or VFS Abu Dhabi centers or through the embassy website, book your pick-up time. All Schengen countries have restrictions on the number of applications, so it is better to plan your vacation in advance.
List of required documents when applying for a visa to the UAE:
1. Passport with a resident visa, the visa must be valid for 3 months after the intended departure from the Schengen area.
2. Reservation of the hotel for all days of stay in the Schengen area.
3. Turnovers on a bank account for 6 months.
4. Medical insurance for travelers.
5. Photo for the passport.
6. Round-trip ticket for the period of stay in the Schengen area.
7. Certificate from work, confirming the position and salary.
8. Letter of permission from the employer to visit Schengen countries-Noc.
9. Certificate of vaccination, and Greece accepts all permitted vaccinations in the UAE. Its should be after the second vaccination, at least 14 days before arriving in Greece.
10. Certificate of COVID recovery or antibody test valid from 2 to 9 months from the date of issue.
Italy
Italy opens tourist visas to those who already had Italian Schengen, and their validity expired during the pandemic.
Who can apply for a visa? Persons holding Italian tourist visas (Schengen visa type C), which expired from 1 January 2020 to the present, can apply for a new Italian tourist visa.
Spain
The Visa Application Center began to accept documents from those who had previously had Schengen visas valid for at least 1 year.
Who can apply for a visa? Until the end of May, holders of visas of any European country for a period of 2, 3 and 5 years, relatives of EU citizens, owners of real estate in Spain and other categories can apply for Schengen, and from June 1, those who have had a visa for a period of one year. At the same time, it is necessary that the visa expires in 2018, 2019, 2020 or 2021 (before the application for a new visa is submitted).
At the moment of writing this article, applications for visas to Spain will open shortly in the UAE.
Cyprus
Cyprus issues pro-visas online. It is done quickly and free of charge. The very next day, you will be sent a visa by mail for a single entry into the country.
Citizens of Russia, Turkey, Ukraine can get a visa online. You can either go with a PCR test done 72 hours in advance and take a second one at Larnaca or Pathos airports, or with a vaccination certificate (then tests are not needed).
All travelers must complete an application form 24 hours before departure.
Bulgaria
Bulgaria resumed issuing visas to the UAE. A visa can be obtained only at the Bulgarian Embassy in Abu Dhabi or at the Bulgarian Consulate in Dubai.
