Located adjacent to the Free Zone, the Port of Fujairah ensures that investors can fully leverage Fujairah’s strategic location for maximum benefits. By utilizing the available shipping services, investors gain access to various ports in the Arabian Gulf, the Red Sea, Iran, India, and Pakistan through weekly feeder vessels. Mainline services connect the port to the UK, North Europe, Mediterranean, Far East, and North America, with weekly services from the UK, North Europe, Mediterranean, Far East, and North America. Additionally, the port offers twice-weekly sailings to the Far East and weekly sailings to North America. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including 800 meters of deep-water quay with a 12.5-meter draught, six ship-to-shore gantry cranes, and eleven rubber-tyred yard cranes, the port is well-prepared to handle the region’s growth.
Moreover, the port handles a wide range of cargo, including bulk dry cargos, Ro/Ro cargo, livestock, and general cargo, in addition to regular containers.

TRADING OFFICES
We offer fully furnished Trading Offices available for lease, catering to Import, Export, and Re-Export operations. With a minimum area of 35 sq.m., these offices also provide the option of secretarial assistance.
DISTRIBUTION / WAREHOUSING

CUSTOMS EXEMPTION
Free Zone clients in the UAE can enjoy the advantage of being exempt from customs duties on imports of various commodities and finished products, which are intended for export and re-export purposes. In addition, clients are not required to pay duties on factory machinery or raw materials used in their production processes. Furthermore, Free Zone clients have the flexibility to utilize any of the UAE’s ports and airports for the seamless movement of their goods, all while benefiting from the invaluable advantage of customs duty exemptions.
ELECTRICITY AND WATER
The Ministry of Electricity and Water offers cost-effective 3-phase power to investors at the Free Zone. Additionally, the Ministry supplies water from the desalination plant.
ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE
The Authority is equipped with a proficient team to promptly assist in obtaining services from relevant Federal Ministries. These services include acquiring driving licenses, registering cars, notarizing legal documents, obtaining entry permits, residence visas, transit and visit visas for investors and employees. Additionally, the Authority can provide recruitment services for personnel across all levels.
BANKS
To open an account with any bank in the UAE, you will need to provide the following documents:
- Introductory letter by the Fujairah Free Zone Authority.
- Submission of a copy of the Fujairah Free Zone license.
- A copy of the Chamber of Commerce registration.
- Copy of Power of Attorney of the Authorised Signatory.
- Copy of Establishment of the Company.
FUJAIRAH FREEZONE CUSTOMS
Our department is dedicated to providing seamless and efficient Customs services to users of the Port of Fujairah, Dibba Sea Port, and Fujairah International Airport. Leveraging our 8 years of experience, we have streamlined our procedures based on customer feedback to ensure hassle-free services. Our office operates from 7.30 am to 2.30 pm, and our staff is available after hours to assist with services like Bills of Entry, trans-shipment, vessel clearance certificates, crew change inspections, bonded warehouse traffic, and ship handling.
Clients of Fujairah Free Zone can take advantage of the exemption of customs duties on imports of all commodities and finished products for export and re-export outside the UAE. Additionally, they are not required to pay duties on factory machinery or raw materials used in production. However, please note that imports to the UAE through Free Zone users are subject to a 4% customs duty.
To clear or export goods, the following documentation is required by customs (both for inbound and outbound shipments):
IMPORT
- Duty completed Fujairah Import Bill of Entry
- Original Supplier’s Invoice
- Certificate of Origin
- Packing list
- Delivery Order
- Copy of Trade license
- Israeli Boycott Certificate
ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS
To ensure compliance with regulations, a Health Certificate is necessary for Foodstuffs and Agricultural Products. If the original documents are unavailable, copies can be submitted along with a nominal deposit.
EXPORT
All cargo exported through Fujairah Sea and Air Ports must be declared to the Department of Customs, Fujairah. This declaration should be accompanied by a Fujairah Bill of Entry and supported by a commercial invoice.
RE-EXPORT
To facilitate the re-exportation of cargo through Fujairah Sea and Air Ports, it is mandatory to provide a Fujairah Re-export Bill of Entry. For goods subject to quotas, it is necessary to include a copy of the Certificate of Origin/Visa Stamp. Similarly, for vehicles, the Traffic Police Clearance papers must be submitted. Free Zone clients have the flexibility to utilize any of the UAE ports and airports for the import and export of their goods, enjoying the benefit of customs duty exemptions.
FUJAIRAH FREEZONE LICENSE
Investors have the opportunity to secure an operational license with up to 100% ownership in various categories, based on their lease agreement with the authority.
TRADING & GENERAL TRADING LICENSE
The authorized license enables investors to seamlessly import, export, and re-export agreed-upon commodities. This license grants the freedom to conduct these activities within the Free Zone and outside the UAE. Moreover, for smooth operations, the Authority can facilitate special permits with the relevant Government departments for hassle-free distribution.
WAREHOUSING LICENSE
You can acquire leasing warehousing facilities to obtain a license that grants investors the use of a warehouse as a central hub for efficient distribution. This license offers benefits such as improved storage and packaging of goods.
MANUFACTURING LICENSE
Upon project approval and implementation, it is imperative to ensure comprehensive insurance coverage for all aspects, including manpower and machinery. Additionally, the identification of the following criteria is required for manufacturing license approvals:
- Area requirements – built-up and open space
- Electricity, water and manpower requirements
